My Not So Functional Family could be describing any family in the modern age. I found it an easy, lighthearted read with the odd splash of humour thrown in.
Like every family I found I had a great affinity with some of the characters while others, like Claudia's Mum, I found very hard to warm too. The sibling relationships in this book are very complex and sometimes it appears that they don't like each other at all but they still watch out for each other & I would have liked to have seen more of their story in this book and the past events that made them the people they are today.
Overall, this book will appeal to anyone who likes romantic fiction. It's a nice easy read for over the Christmas period.
