I actually did this read as an audiobook which made it a super quick and easy read on my commute. I had not realised how short it was previously.

It was a really interesting premise, which followed the lives of two sisters. One sister (Ayoola) who seems to have a habit for murdering and the other sister (Korede) who seems to end up cleaning up all of her messes.

They were so very unlike each other and while it was witty, I did wonder how or why Korede put up with it all. I get the whole “blood is thicker than water” line but I personally just thought Ayoola was a pretty nasty person. Even without considering her tendency to murder men.
Particularly when she started a relationship with the man that Korede had had a thing for for a really long time. It did not sit right with me and I just wanted Korede to leave her to correct her own messes. Instead she kept fighting the inner conflict of sticking by her or doing what was right.
