I read the blurb of this one and actually enjoyed it, but after sitting down and actually reading the book I just couldn't work it out. This is the 3rd book in the series and it may have made a bit more sense if I read the others. Usually I like this era and type of book but I found it hard to get into.
Having said all that the book is well written and has some very good and interesting information as well as taking into consideration the political stance at the time and the challenges being faced.
There are several storylines within the book and a good strong female characters but some of the other. Ha racers didn't seem believable or very tame in comparison. The book was descriptive and at times you could actually picture the feelings.
Unfortunately on this occasion this is not one I could get into very well.
