Rory Clements was a new author to me, but one I will certainly read again.
With its many twists and turns, the plot of Nemesis kept me interested from the first page to the very last. The narrative was such that the setting and scenery were easily pictured in the minds eye. Set around the start of World War Two in Cambridge where the lead character is an American history professor, is a spy thriller with old school charm and modern twists.
My only criticism is that part way through I realised this novel is part of a series and since many characters appear in all and make reference to events that happen in other novels it would be helpful to read those first.
The book was very well written, characters and plot extremely successfully developed and it was a very enjoyable read.
