This was the second Jack Jordan book I've read and this one was even better than the first!

It was the kind of book that I could feel the impending terror and danger, but I couldn't guess what would happen!

Rose, the main character had lost some of her nearest and dearest, and as a result of her insomnia fuelled shenanigans, was driving the few people who were left away. The story resulted in murders, violent homophobic attacks, visits to mental institutions, broken bones, and almost getting killed to try to solve the case of a missing person she had never even met!

The twists and turns in the story meant I was reading at mealtimes, on the bus, and anywhere I could carry on to find out whether Rose could solve the mystery, save the relationship with her family, and just generally stay alive!
