This was a beautifully written extract. The content was up to date and relevant and it's refreshing to see this subject matter being tackled and I believe the rest of the story will make for an interesting read. The author portrayed the characters emotions really well and I felt every emotion experienced by the characters. The front cover, though beautiful, doesn't indicate what the book was actually about so I would have ignored this book if I saw it on a shelf. But this is a shame because the actual subject matter and this extract interests me.
