Before reading this book I’d heard wonderful things and it didn’t disappoint one bit.
The bright, bold and beautiful front cover of the book drew my attention to it and suited the concept of the book. The brightness of it represented the country in which it was set in.
The story itself was both beautiful and tragic. It was a wonderful read and extremely heart felt and thought provoking. It was difficult to read in parts as it was so evocative snd focused on some serious and upsetting topics. The writing style of the book flowed beautifully and it reminded me of a form of poetry in certain parts throughout the book.
All in all this wasn’t an easy read, it focussed on some serious subjects however, it was a wonderful read and oh my opinion it is a book which will stay with you for a very long time and will most definitely be one that I will be recommending to my friends and other book worms.
