I'm a big fan of Louise O'Neill and that darker grittier style of YA fiction so the note on the front that states this is for fans of Louise O'Neill was the first thing that drew me in to this book.
I'm really enjoying the character of the Stacey so far and while it is a tricky and emotional plot theme, I'm looking to see where the character goes and the situation that she is put in. The book is so far well written, clear and easy to read whilst still being hard hitting, everything a YA book should be. The story feels fast paced and like you you won't have to wait too long for developments, which is great. Overall, a really enjoyable first look of what looks to be a really interesting story.
