The cover doesn't give much away at all, makes you think it is going to be some sort of period drama. The blurb for the book sounds a lot more interesting than the opening chapters proved to be - supernatural hair? Not a lot about that in the opening chapters, just a slight mention of it, instead we were treated to a rather depressing opening of a funeral before moving on to the hair salon itself.

Sounds like the popular Ukrainian hair they have been selling may not be legit, and that may be something to do with her mother's death, but to be honest i don't really want to find out - it's about hair, definitely not of interest to me.
