After a good start, I lost interest in this novel quite quickly. I loved the beginning, where there seemed to be something a little magical about the main characters hair and its reaction to those around her. I wanted to read more of that from the off yet it then diverted into an investigation into the main characters mum by some other characters. I wasn't entirely sure who they were, and wasn't invested enough in the main character to care enough. Things then diverted further and I felt a littlr bit lost. Maybe something just got lost in the translation of this book as the concept sounds great and the cover is beautiful. But I bailed at around 20% as it just wasn't working for me on the whole.
