This was not at all what i expected from this author. Having previously loved her other books like Purge, i was left slightly disappointed in this one. The premise for it was good and i suppose the execution was done well enough and the characters felt really realistic but i never really liked any of them. The whole thing just felt kind of flat. The ending was what ruined it the most more me, i could get on bored with the rest to a certain point but the ending was just... i don’t even know. Was that the whole point? Did the author want you to hate the ending? It didn’t feel like a normal disappointing ending so if that was the authors intention? I guess it worked and was a cool idea, i’m just confused with my feelings towards this one.
