I quite liked it.

I was quite interesting by the fact the story is set in Italy - my native country - and is about grief and love. The story was quite compelling, however I expected more: I don't know why.
I liked the way the characters are built, yet they don't feel complete to me, like there is a part of them that is missing from the book.

I liked how descriptive the book was of Rome, reminding me a bit of my hometown there, (a few things are meant to be spelt differentent, like Santo Giorgo and Mimmo.) One thing though I really didn't like and didn't make sense is the author describing some Italian people smelling of oregano, basil and other herbs and spices typically used in the Italian cuisine; being born and bred in Italy, throughout my whole life, I have met zero people smelling like basil, mandarin or oregano, even if they were professional chefs!

Apart from this, the book was quite a compelling story of grief and missed loves.
