When I first saw the cover of the book, it really catched my eye. We often see beautiful flowers covering books, and this one represented the opposite. Such a beautiful thing so damadged and hurt.
It was the first time I read Caroline Bond, but I found it such a profound extract. It represented death, grief and denial contrasting with hope, youth and peace.
Learning about the characters and the different backgrounds which affected their perspetive torwards the same subjet was extraordinary.
