I've enjoyed Caroline Bond's other two books so would love to read this one.

From the first few sample chapters and right from the very start, this sounds like a great story – tragic and emotionally charged. It tells the story of five teenagers who are involved in an awful car crash and one of them dies.

In this social media age, it's frightening how fast bad news travels and various local parents and children are frantically trying to work out who was involved in the accident, with some heading to the crash site to confirm or deny the worst.

As the unlucky parents receive a knock on their door from the police and assemble at the hospital, we're left wondering what exactly has happened and who has died. This is a tragic event that is going to have lasting repercussions for the whole community.

Intriguing, engaging and shocking start! Looking forward to reading on and finding out more.

The cover looks great too – eye catching and rather appropriate, with the yellow flowers all starting to lose their petals and wilt.
