The synopsis is intriguing and the prologue hits a very solemn note. The opening plunges the reader into the midst of the action and catches them up in the growing tension and anxiety of the characters we’re getting to know. There is good use of the imagined horror of the accident, revealed by the spectators and social media, which allows the reader to conjure up their own images and impels further reading. Already identifying with the worried parents, I can’t wait to find out how their children are, knowing that there is at least one fatality .
