The book is about the story of a split second between normality, tragedy and a bond that describes desperate moments with empathy and insight. From prison cells to intensive care. Even families willing to shun their own blood. A good story to get caught up in and very unpredictable. A parents nightmare. Incredible book and perfectly written by the author. I read this book online but purchasing a copy of this book is a high priority after reading it. It does not drag and is not too light hearted for the subjects and events discussed upon the writing. The book is mostly targeted at teenagers or younger adults but is a perfect read for all. I had never previously heard of Caroline Bond but after reading this book I am intrigued by what other incredible stories she has to share with the world. Definitely worth the read. This author is incredible.
