This is an absolutely wonderful read which I immensely enjoyed. It had plenty of aspects which I love in a book - multiple character perspectives, close following of a few key characters and conveyance of emotion around topical issues whilst being sensitively written. I found the writing around some of the hospital scenes (I am being deliberately vague here so I don't spoil particular aspects for other readers, but in particular I mean chapters 30 and 31) was particularly good and as true to real life as it could be. I found myself crying and smiling at various points, it was quite the emotional rollercoaster but one which was most worthwhile to read and be part of! I found the story incredibly easy to get into and I didn't want to put it down. I will be looking out for more of Caroline's books after reading this. Thank you for my review copy
