This is an extremely well written book telling the story of a family dealing with the death of a little girl Ruby-May and how the effects of a split between Ruby-May’s grandparents still affected her mother and her mother’s siblings. The different sadness felt by each relation and how they dealt with it seems quite realistic. One year after the death and in order to get the family to reconnect they go on holiday to a large villa on a remote Italian island. But who is telling lies........
The plot appears simple but has a good many twists and turns and keeps the reader interested until the end. I found most of the characters believable and well crafted.
I can recommend this book as an entertaining thriller!
