The book was beautifully written. I fell in love with Rome, the Italian language and the main characters.
Both Alf and Letty have packed their bags and moved to Rome to escape their situations at home. Alf is confident whereas Letty is shy and quiet, but somehow they are drawn to each other. They fall in love through their shared passion of dance and Alf comes to the realisation that he never loved his long-term girlfriend Gina. But as everything is falling into place, Letty realises that she has a difficult decision to make, does she tell Alf the truth and risk losing him, or does she run now.
This book was romantic and wonderful. It takes you on a journey and sends the message that if someone truly loves you, they will accept your past no matter what.
