A tale from two perspectives, Letty and Alf. Spanning time and countries, this book will appeal to fans of dance, especially ballet.
The plot bounces between the characters, I found myself equally hopeful and despairing of their choices and circumstance. There was a lot to keep interest in the fates of two young people navigating their way through school and early adulthood. Not too dreamy or dramatic, the style of writing is easy-going but pulls you up occasionally, I found myself re-reading a few lines at times to check the latest drama befalling one of them. You could read this book in little chunks, or longer as I was able to.
I would recommend this book and will now look to read 'Miss you', also by Kate Eberlen.
