This was a gorgeously romantic book featuring Alf and Letty who both end up in Rome at an Italian language school with their own baggage, but fall in love only for the baggage to catch up and threaten to derail the relationship.
Told in alternating chapters from Letty and Alf, this flows along at a really lovely pace and is a very easy book to get lost in for a couple of hours. And who doesn't need that currently?!!
The book starts in Rome, then moves back to tell the back stories of the main characters to show how they ended up in Rome. The last section moved back to the present, and also includes parts written from Letty's mother's perspective which was a really nice addition.
I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to escape real life for a while.
