I found the first few pages difficult to "get into" but after that the prose flowed beautifully. The feel of the book was other worldly to me. Interesting names and places that I was eager to learn more about. It is the first novel I have read set during the pandemic, so unsure how I feel about that yet? I look forward to continuing with the story to see how it unfolds.
