I was looking forward to reading this book but after reading the first few chapters I was somewhat disappointed and wondered where the storyline was going.
The characters were well written and the impact of the pandemic and how each character dealt differently with the lockdown was amusing.
I felt there could have been more of a plot as I found the group of friends didn't really do a great deal other than interact with each other in turn. Not really sure if it needed the actor.
The family, Sasha, Masha and Natasha seemed to be totally dis-functional and the fact that Alexander Senderovsky (Sasha) was referred to by either name throughout the book, was confusing and wasn't necessary.
The last few chapters with Vinod and Karen was rather strange as it went through Vinod's final hours while suffering from Covid-19.
I did read the whole book but I can't say I thoroughly enjoyed it.
