I haven’t been as engrossed in a novel as much as in this one for a long time. It is well written and is a clever psychological thriller.
This is the story of a young man hideously disfigured in an acid attack in the past now trying to find out who drugged and attacked his sister after an online date. Struggling with police who have an alternative agenda and more women being attacked. The gripping story line keeps you turning the pages and I didn’t want to put the book down.
The characters are well rounded and you want to find out what is going to happen next.
I recommend this book wholeheartedly as I really enjoyed it. I will be reading more of D. B. Thorne’s books and hope they pack as big a punch as this one!
