I was intrigued by the opening chapters of this one and also the comparisons to the likes of Paula Hawkins and Ruth Ware etc. so I went into this one with high expectations of a gripping thriller.....
Well, those high expectations didn't last very long I'm afraid! Unfortunately, the more I read, the more disappointed I felt. This went from the sublime to the ridiculous as the main character attempts to hurt and embarrass her ex husband and his extra marital conquests in increasingly cringe-worthy and far-fetched ways, while all the time having affairs herself with married men!!
I didn't find the plot at all believable and really struggled through the entire book. Not for me I'm afraid
