I liked the description of this book and it didn't let me down. After a couple of chapters I could not put the book down and was really gripped. I sympathised with Caroline who was on her own after her cheating, lying husband had left her and taken her kids away. I soon discovered she lived a life with a solid job in the day and became a drunk who liked one night stands at night. I did wonder if she had lost the plot but it soon became clear her husband had ground her down so she had no worth. The story focused on Caroline becoming stronger, braver and cleverer to try and do whatever she could to get revenge on her husband and get her kids back, even if it meant she put herself in dangerous situations. It was a book based on lies, deceit, revenge, courage and hope. A really good read.
