The plot was unlike any thriller I'd read before, a scorned wife is seeking revenge on her ex-husband. He made everyone believe she was crazy and he took the one thing she just can not function properly without... her kids!

That is, until one day his luggage is returned back to their marital home following on of his trips and Caroline searches through the very bag Jack has kept secret from her their entire relationship. Inside this bag contained a little black notebook where he wrote down every time he cheated on his wife, and marked his lovers out of ten. A scrapbook of sordid secrets (Ergh, hate him already don't you?!)

Caroline is barely living until this point... just existing. However, once she finds the confirmation she needed that she isn't crazy, he was in fact lying and cheating throughout their entire marriage - she uses this as ammunition to get her kids back and she begins on her mission to expose Jack for the filthy liar he is... through FACEBOOK!

I really enjoyed this book, the character development was quick and clever. It gave you enough information so you could make up your own mind about each character and the unfolding of the story was face paced, however I did not feel any suspense at all throughout the book. I was eager to find out more and see how Caroline was out to expose Jack, whether she would get into trouble with the police, WHO her stalker was, (Yup I left that out before, but this character was not used enough in my opinion.. I felt zero fear so it had very little impact on the story for me) However, as an avid thriller reader I did not fully get that dread in the pit of your stomach when I was reading this book.

Nevertheless it was brilliantly clever and executed well. I devoured this book in a few short hours and I would recommend it, especially if you don't want a scary read!

Overall: ***.5 Stars - This book was a great quick read. The plot is very compelling and it's brilliantly written. I'd definitely pick up more from Jacqueline Ward!
