I'm intrigued but don't know why

I'm really vibing on the perspective this is told in. I like the scientific way Piranesi deals with things and I think it will be very interesting to read from Piranesi's perspective. I'm intrigued, but I also barely know anything to be intrigued about. It feels other worldly but familiar. It's bizarre. Not read anything by this author before, so have nothing to base my expectations on which is kind of nice.
