Just the right balance of myth and fantasy

When I first read the “first look” it drew me in straight away, I find this a rarity but the writing style is beautiful and very well structured and kept me at a good distance but drew me in completely. A true page Turner with the correct amounts of all things that make a good book- the way the setting was established was a really pretty piece and made me feel as if I were truly there. When I saw the cover it reminded me of the works of Madeline Miller and I feel that fans of hers will definitely love this book. The sense of myth and legend that this book evoked from me was truly well done, it creates the perfect balance of fantasy tripping it in by page and page rather than overloading the reader- I found it a delightful read and I believe it is very well done reminding me of recent established classics through the language and overall elements of the book brought together in harmony.
