This novel is absolutely stunning. Piranesi maintains a journal. However, the writing is so descriptive and almost lyrical. It's the story of someone attempting to navigate uncharted territory. I can tell this novel is going to be all about storytelling, and I'm excited about it! Understanding the excerpt took some time, but it was well worth the effort. This is probably the most ecstatic I've ever been to read a book. This book is complex and intellectually challenging to the reader. This book is a work of pure art. From the intricate monologue detailing to the artistic flair of the diary entries. Each entry does not specify the exact date, but gives a more rustic and mythical feel by stating that it is the "tenth day entry." This book is truly something i have never come across before and it keeps me at the edge of my seat each time. I would highly recommend this book to avid readers as i have already preached about it to my friends that some even had to read it and they themselves were obsessed. I really do commend the author for creating such a wonderful book, it truly is a work of art.
