I have to start out by saying that i thoroughly enjoyed this book, i found myself hooked and really struggled to put it down once i started, i'd pick it up and read some more at every given possible opportunity.
I really did love the author's style of writing and how it had been set out (like diary entries), it made it feel so real.
The author did a fantastic job of conveying the realness of single mum life and what it can be like and i could totally relate with some bits throughout this story due to personal past experience.
The humour throughout was great! it really did tickle me in places.
Although their was use of swearing in this book, it really wasn't uncomfortable in any way as a reader.
Perhaps this would be an amazing book to pass around to other mums at nursery if you do have little ones attending or friends and family members with young children.
Overall this impressed me and i'd really love to see more.
