This book is funny and full of amusing tales of parenthood as experienced by a single mum. It is also about starting over and had plenty of funny Tinder tales. The characters are likeable and I imagine ring plenty of bells if you have ever raised children or lived alone after the breakdown of a relationship. It is written in diary format but that makes it easy to pick up and put down and it is not a complex tale so a perfect holiday read. I did find it a bit predictable towards the end but no less enjoyable for that. If you have not got children and are thinking of starting a family I would not read this as it might put you off! It is also about friendship amongst women and shows how we allneed a bit of support at times. A good read.
