I enjoyed reading about the adventures and misadventures of Frankie for an entire year. She was such a fun character as were her two Mum bffs - Sierra and Lou. I loved the parts about her family life although I think these are probably more easy to relate to if you have children yourself. I also liked how the story didn't have a happily ever after ending but it still felt like a positive one. It reminded you about how you can change your life if you try to.
The plot was easy to follow - the diary entries were great as chapters because it meant that you could easily finish reading one if you needed to start doing something else and not lose your place in the middle of a page. It also meant you could keep track of how long the story was taking place over.
