I adored this book. Couldn't put it down. The way you are pulled in and made to feel like you know the characters is fantastic. Mattie felt as if she was just a friend from down the road. You are pulled in to their lives, their relationships. I was sat here begging for one relationship to end and another begin. Shouting out loud when the story line takes a turn towards an outcome you are hoping for. It highlights how people aren't always as they seem. Those that have hidden agendas or in this case are only after one thing are very good at hiding them until things go against them. As well as not to judge a person by your first impression as there is all a lot more than meets the eye.
