The cover is beautiful... let me emphasis BEAUTIFUL. So okay im a bit judgmental when it comes to covers and I know I’m probably coming off materialistic but omg the cover is beautiful.
And if we so actually judge the book by its cover than one would not be disappointed because the contents was just as magical as the novel.
The short chapters make for such an easy read, the book really helped me get out of my reading slump. The narrative was really easy and friendly (if that makes sense). There were some really funny moments in this book which I loved.
I live for and love fairytales retellings and I loved this book not Bly because it fits into one of my favourite genres but because it is incredibly well written.
I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to get out of a reading slum and fans of the Cinder series because of the large amount of parallels to this book.
