I love the way Jennifer Donnelly shows us snow-white in a way she has never been shown before. The strong female representation is great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There's nothing better than strong female mcs. The book is full of violence from the second you read the first sentence and this fully gripped me in and left me not wanting to put this down for even a second. The writing style is also great, fast paced but enough action to keep you reeled in and entertained. i was sucked into the world and the plot twists were amazing. The cover is also great, it really caught my eyes and I just knew I had to read this. I love fairytale retellings, one of my favourites being the Cursebreaker series so I was pleased to see that this book is nothing less than what I expected it to be. The blurb is great too, explains the book greatly without giving too much out
