I adored how Jennifer Donnelly stuck to the quite gruesome Grimms' brothers fairy tale and made it about a strong, compassionate, fearless and kind woman, who fights for her throne back and is not awakened by Prince Charming passing by.
I am thrilled by the ending, which left me wondering whether or not there are going to be more books based on fairy tales retellings, and I shall expect so.
