This book was just okay for me: it’s just another retelling of a fairy tale. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. It’s not that this one doesn’t work, it’s just nothing special in my eyes. It is well written and the story does have it’s good points. It’s easy to follow and the characters are likeable. The story keeps a good pace and i got through the book fairly quick. All in all it’s an okay retelling of a classic story. For people who like Snow White it might be more down their alley. Or if you’re a great lover of fairy tales it might be something to read. When I read it though it just didn’t feel like I was reading anything new and fresh, it didn’t feel like an old story retold it just
