Just reading the Introduction alone has left my head spinning as a result of the sheer multitude of ways of thinking about physical books the author has included, many I'd never considered before. I particularly liked her description of public libraries as 'pleasure domes'. I think this will be a thoroughly absorbing and thought-provoking read, even if it does seem ironic to be reading an extract from it in digital form given its subject matter!
