A book I've been waiting for, without realising it. Emma Smith is clearly a gifted storyteller with magical words flowing from her pen. I anticipate being informed about the history of books in the most delightful manner. This will make a memorable Christmas gift for all my bookish friends. The cover is striking but the flame effect put me in mind of Fahrenheit 451 and The Book Thief; book burning is a disturbing concept.
