I absolutely adored this book despite having initial thoughts about a sequel that has taken so long to come to fruition. Cecilia Ahern is one of my favourite authors and she didn't disappoint. As soon as I started reading I was transported back to the first book, P.S. I Love You and it was easy to pick up the story line once more. I enjoyed how she has modernised the story, going from letters that were sent, to the retelling of these over a podcast, meaning it is kept current and up to date.
I found it full of the usual humour I come to expect from one of her books, as well as some bittersweet parts regarding experiences with death and loss, and how revisiting these emotions can affect people.
In short, if you enjoyed the first book, or havent read the book but seen the film, this sequel is a good follow up. You will laugh, you will feel sad and you may even shed a tear or two!
