I loved the cover art, it is magical and inspiring.
I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy this book and found the first couple of pages hard so put it down and came back to it and glad I did as I started from the beginning again and loved it.
It's magical and inspiring, the story of Tarisai and The Lady is intriguing. The Lady has a purpose for her and she's just beginning to learn it. She craves a mothers love and affection and tries every thing to impress her but nothing seems good enough.
Tarisai can see people's memories vividly from just a touch, but everyone around her is scared of her as if she is some kind of monster, a demon child.
I can't wait to see where this goes.
