After seeing the cover for the first time many weeks ago I was intrigued straight away. When I read the first few chapters I couldn't wait to read more, when the book finally arrived I was excited to see how the story progressed. As a debut novel it was good, being introduced to Tarisai and following the story was beautiful. With insightful descriptions and beautiful imagery it was a great story.
It took me a while to get back into the story being so long since I read the original chapters I was not disappointed.
This was a great story, from the blurb and cover to the story line. I can't wait to read more from Jordan Ifuenko, if this is an indication of the work she will write it looks exciting.
