This book has a very quick start, which is a little unnerving at first, but does mean it's more interesting. I'm a little confused about details of this world, but I assume as I read further in it will make more sense - from what I have read so far, it seems like a beautiful story (I love stories with fairies in them!).
It's also great to see some representation in this book - most books don't have that so I love it. The description of the world and the story is intricate, adjectives and similes woven together very well. The characters seem interesting, particularly The Lady - she has an air of mystery around her that makes me want to read on, to find out more about her and what she is like.
The cover of this book is beautiful, a very pretty pattern! That definitely drew me in, and then reading the first few pages drew me in even further. Looking forward to reading more!
