The book have some mysterious elements in it that sparks my interest. The story line is so-so but the names given for some fictional characters and location is unique such as Alagbato, Bhekina House and Tarisai. I do not know about others but it is not really up to my liking as I prefer more blood-spilling and thrilling books. Nonetheless, I would recommend this book to those who like adventure and mysterious books.
Anyway, the features of some characters are not much described in detail which means that it can be left to the readers' imagination. Other than that, I find some part of the book a little weird. For example, the girl's mother, The Lady, only see and claim the girl to be hers when the girl successfully masters all of the lessons and skills taught by the tutors. I do not know about others but I find that weird and I stopped reading it after reading about 2 chapters or so. I am sorry if this review offends anybody but this is just my opinion and I am a nobody so my opinion don't really matter a lot. Plus, don't let anybody's opinion that oppress your own opinion to ruin your day as it is not worth it and it's their opinion, their way of thinking anyway. We can't change any of that. In fact, in my opinion too, I think that even if you manage to change one's opinion about a matter, you can't change everybody's opinion on that matter. Not to mention, isn't that called manipulating or persuasion in another way, to change one's opinion that objects your opinion about a matter just like that?
