I'm not really sure on this one and I don't think I got to read enough to form a proper opinion on it and decide whether it's for me. This is menial but I really hate the use of the word 'chocaholic' I find it so cringeworthy and to be honest this did put me off from continuing but I did nevertheless. I found the descriptions of the relationship the main character has with her father believable and sad given the context but other plot points seemed to be clumsily thrown in. I also very much disliked the mentioning of how much the main character hates her sons girlfriend? Very predictable and monotonous. If I'm honest I probably wouldn't read to the end but I think the style is just personally not for me.
