I previously read a couple of Charity Norman's books and absolutely loved one, so was really keen to start this book as soon as it arrived.

Straight away I was in with the characters and couldn't put it down. I was really enjoying it. The fact that the main character was the last to see Leah alive left so many questions. When she went home to look after her father who was deteriorating with alzheimers, I was sure that the clues that she was uncovering bit by bit would lead her to discover a horrible truth about her missing friend.
*spoiler alert*

I didn't see the ending coming. I predicted early doors that her dad was in love with the missing girl, but right up until the end assumed that there was something much more sinister going on! Fab ending that made me feel really satisfied and nicely surprised.

The only reason it didnt get 5 stars instead of the 4 I gave was because there was a lull about a 3rd of the way in where I wasn't sure I had the patience to continue reading. Luckily it was short lived and I'm glad I carried on to the end.
