I think Charity Norman is an excellent author. She has a great knack of making her characters spring from the page by letting the reader get to know them and their lives and make them seem like people you know in real life rather than through fiction. I thought the set up for Remember Me was very well chosen. There are a small cast of individuals within the story and it addresses many important issues which I imagine will be quite readily relatable to for many readers. The story touches upon progressive, degenerative illness; grief; sibling rivalry and ageing, and this doesn't even include the other key storyline - a missing woman and the distress caused by lack of closure. Remember Me is a book which gets the reader engaged right from the beginning. It is easy to get so engrossed that the time just slips by before you know it. I very much enjoyed it.
