I really enjoyed the story of "Remember Me". It tells the story of Leah, a girl who disappeared 25 years ago.

I liked that the story is set in rural New Zealand.

Leah's friend Emily returns to her home in order to care for her Father who has Alzheimers disease. As his memory deteriorates secrets start to emerge which may link him to Leah's disappearance. I found the story hooked me in from early on.

It is beautifully written and gives a poignant description of how the cruel disease of Alzheimers slowly takes a person away. While this is a sad story, it is very good. You really want to know what happened to Leah and what involvement Emily's Father may or may not have played in her dissappearace. There are lots of interesting characters and I liked how chapters move from being the present day and the past. This gave lots of depth to the story. I am keen to read more books by this author now.
