Exciting Premise. Despite initial impressions would love to read more.
I was drawn primarily by the cover design which I like very much. The premise is enticing and I would like to read more of this book - to give it more of a chance to impress.
The fact that the first line of the blurb was the first line of the novel, for some reason, I found a little disappointing. I also don't like the font used for the Chapter headings - it doesn't quite gel with the story. The writing is also a little 'clunky' in places which interrupts the flow of the story.
All this being said, I can foresee (and am hopeful that) the story will take-off and these minor imperfections will be forgiven. Or, of course, they may be edited before the final publication.
